College of Psychotherapy

Bards of the College of Psychotherapy have studied the way bardic magic works with humanoid emotions, memories, and mental health in order to apply their talents to those who are suffering. They may indeed play one or several musical instruments, but they rely mostly on calm, measured speech tones to cast their spells.

The bards of this college tend to be friendly and approachable, appearing easy to talk to. They are beholden to the safety and wellbeing of their patients above all, but are not afraid to be stern if needed. They excel in one-on-one situations, but their talents can similarly be applied to groups. This college’s members are highly saught out for their expertise, but can be subject to scorn from those who fail to see the need for such a college.

This is a subclass/college designed to be used with Dungeons and Dragons 5E. It is modeled after existing colleges though has not been tested for balance.
